Data Center Parameters
Material safety - the facility is guarded, provided with CCTV monitoring and protected against unauthorized access, burglaries and sabotage, flood proof and located aside the overflow areas. The building will be furnished with the fire safety system to prevent any fire expansion as well as fire extinguishing system dedicated to electronic circuits and safe for the Data Center operators. Fire proof safe boxes will also be provided while the racks, the individual modules and safety zones will be protected against unauthorized access. The facility is guarded by professional security personnel and is provided with two access and exit roads.
Power supply safety - we provide two, three in the target scheme, independent heavy duty power lines. We ensure redundant power generators and redundant UPS backup supply systems. Doubled and guaranteed power supply will reach the rack level. The total power allocation for our facilities is 8MW.
Safe working environment - anti-electrostatic floor, redundant high efficiency air conditioning system and dust protection system.
Event monitoring - we ensure monitoring and real time recording of all data center systems. Each rack and every zone of the facility will be covered by the system of sensors and control surveillance devices to detect immediately any occurrence which might hamper performance of 3SF Data Center.
Telecommunication - 3SF Data Center is linked with the telecommunication network through four independent optic fiber connectors. We make available the 3S optic fiber network. our own LAN infrastructure in the Data Center, including L2/L3 switches. 3SF is authorized to use the optic fiber infrastructure of more than 850 km, covering the area of the Silesian region. On this basis we are ready to render services both on the second and third layer. In order to provide the operator's and business access to the Internet, we ensure intermediate links with the international operators as well as traffic exchange points. Our offer includes the use of face nodes of the local and international telecommunication operators.
Backup Center - The backup Data Processing Center in Bytom will be furnished with all the specified above systems and linked to the Data Center in Katowice through several independent optic fiber connectors.
Data Center Operational Service - Data Center performance is ensured by the engineering team supervising all systems on 24/7 basis.
